There are a few different errors that can be found on the 1976 quarter. One is that the eagle on the reverse side is missing its right talon. Another is that the word “LIBERTY” is mispelled as “LBERTY”. Finally, the date on the coin is supposed to read “1776-1976”, but some quarters were minted with the date reading “1776-1971”.
