I first thought burgler was good but then I realized you could get lvl 2 mechanics and 1 electrical on day 1. The other positive traits are more situational (i.e. taking Sprinter for games with sprinter zombies), purely quality-of-life (i.e. Dexterous) or for niche builds (i.e. Adrenaline Junkie go fast build) or are more debatable matters of personal taste (i.e. Speed Demon) or useless (i.e. First Aider). You can craft spears from planks, so that means you can either destroy/disassemble doors & furniture for extra spears, or make the zombies do it. Spears don't knock zombies down, so speed is very important. Get some points in Nimble if you can (like via the Gymnast trait) and be very mindful of the clothes you wear.
