AFAIK the only bans that have ever resulted from using CreamAPI were done by the PAYDAY 2 devs (for paid online cosmetics). Even then, their Steam account remained unaffected. Been using GreenLuma 2020 for most of my DLC needs, and I haven't been banned yet. So I really doubt you will get banned for using CreamAPI.
