2007 G35 sedan, high idle after throttle body clean. I know this is a really common issue but I didn't realise it until after the fact, I've tried all the reset procedures (ECU reset, Accel positioning, idle) and none of them seem to work. I'm at a loss as to what to do about it.

We replaced it and reset the codes. It cleared for maybe a week and came back on. We reset it 3 other times, checked the sensor, changed the sensor again. It wouldn't stay off. Finally took it in to the dealer and mechanic shop told us the other code lights can usually be reset, but the CEL can ony be reset permanently by the dealer.
