Just go to Dawnstar and look around the rocks to the east/left of Iron-Breaker mine. The chest is invisible, but your crosshairs will see it. Just move around until you see "chest." It's between the mountain and the rock which is slightly under the pine tree. Account created-9/10/04.
Posted June 23, 2013. For awhile I have been wondering what had happened to the hidden chest until recently I discovered it was moved by this patch. I uninstalled the patch and even unsubscribed and deleted it but I still cant seem to find the Dawnstar chest : ( please help me get it back again. Either way, it is used by NPCs (or a specific one), and taking stuff from it means they won't be selling the item(s) you took.

Yeah , for example the Dawnstar chest being moved further beneath the ground. So I guess there's no mod that brings them back up?
