The crossflow and looper refer to the way the fuel charge is introduced into the combustion chamber. If I'm not mistaken ,your engine model has the split type shift rod coupler under the carb area.If so,you'll need to remove the hitch pin from the shift arm and push in on the arm to separate the coupler.may be easier to also remove the shift cable from the link arm to afford more movement ...
The 175 have a different height port and jetting so they make the power in the 56-5800 range while the 150Hp make theirs in the 5400-5500 Range. Viper props, all of the harnesses, gauges, controls,key switches, steering bar and oils tanks came with them. They have no corrosion anywhere, look new still and have low hours.
