So, to be more specific, using 5E and this game's system, whats the "best" way to make a Spellsword in a style similar to the ones seen in 3E/3.5E? So basically Heavy Armor, good melee, and a good range of spells (like Wizard or Sorcerer). Edit- to be more clear, I'm asking in terms of Multiclassing, not base Class, lol.
