thing is, you'd be trading bowfa + arm for a minimal dps increase, bc the increase isn't that major. i'm getting a .6 increase comparing crystal armor bp to masori on small mutt. it's an increase but tbh i'd just keep bowfa since it's corrupted. free to use weapon that's good near everywhere.

Depending on the situation the blowpipe can be better than bowfa, even with rune or ammy darts. On bosses that you can proc ruby bolts the rcb is insanely good dps for how bad of a weapon it is. For everything in between a normal crystal bow with the armour set does a decent job. There are options if you look for them

But crystal bow with armor has been pleasantly fine; I guess I don't know what I'm missing though Bowfa is good because of the crystal armor. Hard part is done, get back in there and if you really don't like this grind leave after 5 armor seeds and skip the helm (highly recommend getting all 6 tho).
Without the bowfa, armor isn't really worth getting, as it's main objective is the damage and accuracy boost to the bow. On the plus side, the armor + bowfa is cheaper than ever atm due to bottling apparently. Give it prayer bonuses comparable to Other BIS prayer. Tombs of Amascut "bad" range options. Question. I am curious which range weapons to use where. If I had t bow/bofa/acb it gets a bit easier to pick but im out here with rcb or bp and rune darts... I have 99 range, anguish and blessed d'hide without rigour. I think bp is obviously best for monkey puzzle room and ba-ba boulders but not sure ...
Iron here, been using safespot on callisto with the Bowfa. I use crystal armor top only with the bow and the rag gear for the rest. Kills are quite long, not sure how it stands against full veracs. Still super easy though and you have good magic defense against pkers. Im only at 10kc though because of the speed lol.
Bowfa with full crystal and salve(ei) is certainly better dps than an RCB with ruby/diamond bolts. My PB with that setup is 1:45 (99 range, no rigour, Woox walking with RCB/rubies) and kills are typically around 2-3 minutes. ... Bofa without a doubt.
