I have an optima v2 with the nitride barrel. It came with iron sights, but was drilled and and tapped for a scope mount. I would go that route and get a better scope than one in the package deal. This was my first muzzy so can’t compare to others, but absolutely zero complaints on the optima.

For the little extra weight, I'd certainly go with the Optima and a nitrided model if possible. The Optima will have less barrel jump, or rise when fired. The release is much nicer than a Wolf. The Optima's extra couple inches of barrel won't be a hindrance inmost stands or blinds.

Even though it states you can use 150 grains, I never found the need to use more than 110 -120 grains. I have shot .430 240 grain XTP, .430 265 FTX, 250 grain SST. They are all accurate, I have only harvested deer with the XTP. I am using 110 grains of Blackhorn 209 and the FTX's this season.Personally i dont care for the additional weight or stock on the Accura V2. The Optima V2 is almost a lb lighter but you still get a 26" barrel. If you want a Accura, look at the Accrua MR. If you shop around you can probably find a MR black/nitride for about $400. Ive seen them even cheaper during after season sales.
