Have been to both, and much prefer Marco. It is a lot smaller than Hilton Head, and much more an island atmosphere. The beach is huge, and IMO makes for more interesting walks, with lots bird life, beautiful shells, and quite frequently you can see dolphins playing in the Gulf. The adult rooms are called Sirene which provides access to the adult only rooftop pool, adult lounge in addition to a special reserved adult-only section of the beach.
