To add to what others have said already, you might want to use the Lucky Pants. They're pretty much the only exotic that has any real direct synergy with Ace. But yeah, I don't think there are any Ace-oriented hunter builds that will match the synergy of some warlock builds with top tier add clear weapons.

Lucky Pants work best when you're not 1-tapping everything, because if you're spending time looking and aiming for enemies, that's time wasted on the very short timer. Plus, if you want ad clear, pick an ability-based exotic and then spam grenades and Forberance shots. Lucky Pants is made for beefy high value targets where Vorpal applies.
The way lucky pants work is when you pull out a hc, it gives a damage boost for an amount of time. So you would reload malf, put if away, and take it back out.
