The answer is nothing; you get the exact same outcome as if you failed. The same applies for the rolls before the DC99 as well. I'm disappointed that it doesn't give you a unique ending.You need to get into the brain room before this happens; otherwise, controlling the battlefield is much harder. So, spend your first few turns trying to control the battlefield as much as possible while your channeler and its damage support can get into the brain room, and beat the boss.
