By using both power switch or manual mode, the door closes but 2 second later, it pops out of its rear latch, causing the door indicator to light up. When put in drive or reverse, you hear a beeping sound.Before you begin your repair order the window screen clips off amazon, 4 for $7. Don’t bother, just break them off and replace them. Symptom 1: difficulty sliding, even in manual mode. Diagnosed by checking for play at back of open door, repaired with new roller. It will close almost all the way and then it stops and reopens, but if you push on the door slightly while it's closing it will close all the way. It just seems to need a little help.

Not quite clear what you mean by letting loose of the door, but it is very easy to convert the power door to a manual one, I did it recently on my '07. I'm assuming that your side rollers are in good shape. IF that is the case, open the door manually, and detach the cables from the rollers.
