Would have run roughly $3k if it for warrantee. With that said the JKs do run a but hot (210-226) in my case depending on ambient and load. @Youssefsaafan One other thing you may want to consider is if you are running the most up to date software. Jeep made a change to the fan settings and the gauge read out at some point from what I understand.

I recently got to 240 (with a couple seconds at 244) while towing a heavy trailer uphill on the interstate in 89F weather - 4000 rpm in 3rd at 55 mph. So yeah, 250 isn’t normal.

2019 Wrangler JL unlimited this is my first Jeep Ok the JL seems to run really hot I mean putting your hand on the hood after a few miles it is really uncomfortable. The gauge says over 200 degrees. I have 8700 miles on this JL. The JL has always seemed to warmup in less than a 1/2 mile which seems awfully quick.

Does anyone else have problems with the JK running hot in this wicked summer weather (96 and high-humidity here in North Carolina). I have been running the a/c some and the Jeep (in town) starts to run really hot - in the 3/4 range on the gauge and just above. It is currently out of warranty. Last year the Jeep overheated pretty good, starting off as a little higher than normal and then over a few months going to 3/4 temp.

Get it up to operating temp, then top off the overflow. Take it for a few miles drive and then top it off again. Might be losing some from the radiator as previously suggested, so check it again after the next 50 miles. My 2016 jk recently noticed cooling fan running high speed more often and temp higher than normal.
