Mar 15, 2014 · I'm working on a syncro-range 1966 4020 that has developed hydraulic problems over the last several years. Most of the time it is extremely slow to raise the 3pt and cylinders (up to a couple minutes) , occasionally it will work fine. The steering and brakes seem to work ok.

I push the starter button and I hear the starter motor turning but the bendix does not engage the flywheel... or it is every so slightly engaging that it doesn't even sound like it's grinding. Now the brakes are totally locked up. The tractor won't move. But if I open the bleed screws, it will move.
