I bought a new Kalashnikov USA KR-103 SFS. I have a few observations, questions, concerns for you experts. 1) To me, the AK feels unbalanced as in, the front feels dramatically heavier than the rear. Part of this I feel is the gas piston, bolt, trunion have most the weight, while the polymer stock weighs just ounces.Based on the AK74 the 103 will accept all AK74AKM furniture and accessories. Some people love em, I personally don’t trust em. Been burnt by American ak manufactures too many times now. I’d recommend imports like; WASR, WBP Fox, Zastava M70, Arsenal SAM series, FB Beryl or a pro built ak.
