My new PT111 G2 with Lakeline, LLC upgrades. I am new to the forum but not to Taurus ownership. I have owned a 24/7 Gen 1 Pro C DS since 2010 which is on the list as part of the Taurus Class Action Suit. Replaced the guide rod and spring assembly, the striker guide with the lakeline on me G3c and the trigger was smoother, the recoil impulse slightly reduced. Keeping the originals for spares. I also replaced the barrel with a DLC barrel which was much better finished and smoother feed ramp. A slight improvement in overall accuracy..

In the stock Taurus trigger you can feel the uneven and nonlinear pull just before the trigger releases. 20 rounds after installing a Lakeline LLC recoil spring our PT111 Millenium G2 9mm failed. The trigger went dead and we could not remove the slide. Later, we found that the slide could be removed if the firing pin was pulled. Except for Taurus installing the optic with screws that were too short to hold (easy fix by the gunsmith at my indoor range at no charge), the combo has worked almost flawlessly.The Lakeline captive recoil spring assembly is Stainless Steel instead of poly. The TX22 competition looks badass after all. Why not make a GX4 model with something more tactical and unique? Taurus has certainly shown they have some stylistic engineers that have decent quality control and artistic leanings. I do like Lakeline LLC's products though made in USA that look and work well. Zero complaints with my G3 upgrades.
