Fire particles will penetrate players and buildings. If the weapon can airblast, airblasts will deflect projectiles, converting them into mini-crit projectiles.

Best Pyro Loadout. I have been trying to play a more pyro recently, and have been having trouble picking between two loadouts. I'm trying to decide between Degreaser+Flare Gun+Powerjack or Degreaser+Detonator+Axtinguisher. Both offer combo potential and good mobility. I don't expect the Frontline Update for another year or so, so that should give you enough time to get your loadouts together.I think worst loadout would be Degreaser, Scorch Shot, and Sharpened Volcano Fragment. My favourite is backburner, shotgun, powerjack. Use the speed to get behind enemy lines, backburner for the crits and shotgun if you come across a pyro. Shotgun will always be best secondary though. Its just beautiful.
