Just the receiver has a s/n. All genuine HK parts have a date code however (with exception to some of the newer replacement parts). Pre-1970 parts have an actual date. It is not uncommon for the internals or furniture to have date codes 1-2 years (or even more) prior to the date code on the receiver ... 1. You need to mod the FCG and cut and weld a shelf in the housing. 2.
