I started the game in offline mode on steam, went to the anomaly, but I can't see where to claim it. I went to the synthesis companion, but the only option are create exotic items, and collect expedition rewards.

It's limited in function at the moment, but does allow access to the account save. My suggestion would be to get the goatfungus save editor. Last tab on the right is for account data. Find the tool and ship expedition rewards.
