Knight lk 93 209 conversion kit.
At least some of the MK 45cals had a 1-24 twist. All 50cal DISCs have a 1-28 also except some prototypes. DISCs in 45cal were 1-20 and 1-30. Any twist 1-30 or faster will shoot modern projectiles just fine. You could probably even go a little slower depending on the bullet weight.

It's not the fact that the plug takes bare primers, it's because the plug has a convex end, and the realyable ones are concave. Black Powder - Knight load suggestions - Just picked up a used Knight LK-93 for my son, and was curious as to some good loads to try in this bp rifle?For projectiles I have onhand240 grain XTP's, a few Dead Ctr's, a few 250 grain shock waves, and some T/C Maxi Hunters. As far as powder goes I have 777 and some ShockeysThe red 209 disks are completely re-useable. They seal great, are easy to pre-load and they are not that hard to cap on/off quickly. Especially if wearing gloves in colder climates. I like the consistancy a 209 primer gives. The kit is a good investment. I found several kits when I first searched, waited a bit, and they had sold out. Took several months to get back in stock.
