Marlin 795 discontinued.
Marlin had to keep up or go out of the bolt action .22 business just to put it bluntly. At $200 for some models, they are a steal IMO. As for the choice between a 795 and a 925 the main question is do you want a bolt action or a semi-auto. Both are fine rifles. But again I wouldn't choose the 925 because of the new trigger on the XT series rifles.

I still wish I had dumped it and gotten her a Marlin 795. Just about the worst trigger I have ever felt, the funky linkage arrangement on a stock Saiga was much better then the plinkster. I hate it, really hate it. I guess I should get it out again and try it one more time just to make sure.
