I purchased all pullets, can you confirm this is a Prairie Bluebell Egger pullet? She’s 19 weeks old. Hasn’t crowed or laid yet. But her feathers are a little pointy compared to my other other one. But those looks like barred rocks to me, not prairie bluebell eggers. All my PBE have light blue earlobes, and pea combs. They are definitely barred rocks and definitely pullets, although one is still not laying. The breed is a Prairie BlueBell which from my understanding is a fancy EE without the muff. Basically a mutt chicken that lays blue eggs so that's also part of the issue with me determining sex. I was told that the prairie bluebell Eggers were pullets. 2 weeks later went back to the store and was speaking to manager I was informed that they only get straight run in that breed.
