Mar 17, 2019 · Back seat Air conditioning vent. My wife has a 2017 CRV and often transports dogs in crates in the back. She leaves the rear seat backs down and directs the backseat vent towards the dogs. However there does not seem to be sufficient cooling in the Florida sun. The floor vents add nothing so the rear console vent provides all the cooling.
After inspecting the belt, there can only be two things left that could be happening: 1. The clutch is not getting a signal to turn on. This indicates some form of wiring problem. -or-. 2. It has more to do w/ utilizing fresh or rec. air and keeping the temp you set it at. As I and others have said before best to just turn on Auto, set temp where you want it and leave it alone.Wildcat.
