A friend of our daughter who owns a number of guns, but no XD's hands me his Glock 19 the other day to 'see with I think'. OK, fair enough, so today I'm off to the range with his Glock 19 and my XD9 Service. They are basically the same size and capacity. I am aware of the sub-compact XD and for the same reason I would compare that to the Glock 26 or 27, not the 19. Again, the Glock would have same barrel length, but be smaller and lighter.
