My 02 800 Classic, Rejetted, Cobra Slashcuts, Painted myself in my garage, 150 rear tire, 2" risers, Cobra seat, Billet mirrors, Baron tank extension, forward controls. I had the belt drive and didn't like it, so I went back to chain with smaller sprockets.

Then buy a beater real cheap. A lot of extras, windshield, custom seat, crash bars, etc don't usually raise the price of a used bike near as much as buying one and then buying all those things separately. Patience is key. So after removing the Clutch Lever switch aka the Bullshit Switch and putting a loop into the contacts she was fine. Either but a new switch or do what I did.

On fuel pump side of the harness still plugged in, push red meter probe into connector to touch pin with black/yellow wire, black meter lead to touch green pin. 2.
