Around the time I got the D300, I had replaced nearly all my AF lenses with AF-S. I only saved the 50mm AF and 28mm AF. I just don't think there are a lot of people out there who have moved to mirrorless who are attached to AF lenses enough that they are begging for an FTZ with built in motor. I know the D600 shutters had a nasty habit of spitting oil on their sensors, and I thought that issues was supposed to have been addressed with the release of the D610. I am now wondering if there are D610's that exhibit that behavior. I bought a LN D610 from a close friend a few years ago that gets light duty.May 21, 2015. #782. As time passed, it became more and more frustrating, especially the viewfinder and worrying about battery life. So, I decided to return to my roots!! D780. In another month, I may expand that promise to February as well- time will tell. Actually there is nothing on my wish list right now, but that could change quickly.

The Z fc (and similary would a Z50 and Z30) performs incredibly well at high ISO low light. Nikon performs better than the more expensive/newer XT5, R7, and performs similarly to the full frame Sony A7C (which has the sensor from the A7 III). Very impressive.
