It just had a deeper story and made one punch man look like a gimmick in comparison.

Mob's power level isn't always the same at 100%. His 100%s later in the series are significantly stronger than early 100%s, likely because Mob is becoming less concerned about misusing psychic powers and showing his emotions. This probably contributed to Dimple misjudging his power.

Tsubomi is a subversion of escapism. If psychic powers doesn’t make someone inherently interesting (an overall theme of the show), Tsubomi isn’t going to be interested in it. Mob currently has nothing else going on in his life. There’s nothing for Tsubomi to like. At the end of the show, we see Mob’s development.One Punch Man just focuses on the tropes of action anime with great action and stuff while Mob Psycho is more story based. I personally love Mob Psycho more since it just has better plot but I wouldn't say that the other was bad because of that. The cast of MP100 is so much better than OPM.
