Or you could just put an inline on off valve. I like having a device to shut the fuel off.

However, there isn't a "secondary" stem on your shadow spirit. It uses the same tank, just opens up a secondary portion of the tank by using a lower valve directly on the petcock. Your tank will hold 3.6. gat803. There is no overflow hose on either gas tanks or carbs. It is a vent line, and if you are getting gas out of it you have a problem. Fuel coming out of the vent on a carb means you are getting too much fuel into the bowl.
