The best strategy seems to be to have as many wrinklers as possible and to only defeat one when you need more cookies.
Optimal idle Pantheon would be Mokalsium in Diamond, Holobore in Ruby, and either Jeremy in Jade or Cyclius in Jade if it is between around 1 AM and 11 AM UTC, since Cyclius' buff depends on the time of day. After basically getting all upgrades from all parts of the game I see 3 strategies (without savescumming): Drowsyferns, clay, and go on vacation, put dragon and pantheon on sugar lumps and passive cps of course, the last upgrade helped a lot with that, veil etc.
