I have heard reports that this may be due to a bad wheel sensor or hub or a defective brake position sensor. I would appreciate any help in dianosing and solving ...Possible that over time--- porosity in the spark plug tubes-- caused slight pooling of oil or coolant. when you removed the plug- the oil/coolant went into the cylinder. the smoke you saw- was the liquid being burned off. Stabilitrak can be disabled if the system detects some kind of error, but that is the vehicle doing this not the owner.

Stabilitrak/Traction Control messages can be illuminated if the brake fluid level is low. That's something to check.5. Inspect the battery fuse block cable connections for being lose by grasping each cable near the eyelet and verify they do not rotate on their respective stud. Verify each nut is torqued properly to 15 Nm (11 ft lb). 6. It is common for the stabilitrak light to come on when another problem with the engine or electrical system occurs on the Lambda's. It is designed that way for some reason, so once your engine miss was corrected the stabilitrak system was turned back on by the car's computer. Was getting engine trouble light with P0171 and P0174 codes. StableTrak alarm and rough idle. The small rubber vacuum cap above the #2 spark plug got bumped and knocked off. Replace the rubber cap and temporarily pulled the ECM fuses to reset the codes. Problem is gone and engine is idling properly.

My 2016 Acadia had its service stabilitrak light come on and now it bucks when accelerating. Had CEL on for O2 sensors when I fixed but still have the same issue. See a lot online but no clear cut reason why this could be happening. No idle issues, while in park I can Rev it up with no issues and when driving it doesn't occur til after 30mph.
