Honda rancher 420 es foot shifter kit.
The foot shifter on my son's 2013 420 rancher 420 stays loose. Have tighten bolt holding it in place all the way down, repositioned it also, will loosen back up after riding. Took it off last night, the shaft that the shifter goes onto looks fine with no worn places from what I could tell.

There is a lever on the left side to shift into either. My 2012 Rancher has the ES and power steering, which, for me, is perfect, but others like the foot shift. It's a matter of preference on your part.

Once you give it a minute and it finally stays in Neutral and you start it it’s ok for a few minutes and then the - comes on flashing a 22 code.If you did not look closely at the shift motor reduction gears, then remove the shift motor again and make sure the gears that engage the shift motor shaft turn when you manually shift gears with the manual shift tool.
