The standard and loaded models arent front heavy. It wont be a nose-diver. I love the look of wood/steel. The walnut stock is my favorite. And its got an adjustable buttstock.

I'd have to say that the biggest difference between the NM and standard models is the bedding. I'm not saying that a quality barrel isn't important, but the foundation of accuracy in an M1A is a good bedding job.
