My 882 is bolt action. Boyd's offers a stock in xt 22 mag only in tube feed tho. The only stock they offer in the bolt action is the 880 SQ, but do not specify if it is in the 22 or 22 mag. If yours is a pre '77 (or pre '83 for that matter) Model 25, it should be a Glenfield 25. Marlin discontinued the Glenfield line in '83 but continued to produce most models as Marlins. If yours is a Marlin 25N, it is newer. The older 25s will require some modification to fit the aftermarket stocks.

The heavy barrels are the same .810" dia , yes drop in. Not sure if the 7k or the 717M are still made. Never heard of a 700. Wood looks the same.
