I'd be surprised if Nissan's SRS module "communicates" with OBD2. I replaced the airbag on an F150 and it was $90 at the Ford dealer to enable it.

But what you have to do is push the ignition button the ON position without holding the brake pedal. The light on the dash will blink, as soon as it stops ( a few seconds later) you have to push the button again to turn it off. Repeat that 3 times and it should clear it.
