If you want to somewhat recreate Mini Tool you can do the quest in the enclave on Mars and get the crafting blueprint for the Ammit Omolon AR.

Trying to make a new build and I need a CALUS Mini Tool. The Opulence chests have been removed with the new season so I'm not sure how to get on. Pray to RNG that it's in the world pool. That's literally it. i think it can appear at xur or dares of eternity in a few weeks.
If you got no luck with Calus Mini Tool, try the Ammit AR2 auto (solar, incandescent, craftable) that was an easy access a season or two ago (only 2 red borders to craft, and almost given to you automatically through crafting quest steps back then). See if you have access to this.
