I did not see any indication of V1 or V2 or Bergara barrel marks. Although when I talked to a CVA Technician about my Optima he stated it had a Bergara barrel. Also my rifle has a fantastic trigger.

For a few years, and many deers, i have been carrying a 23" barrel. It works good. However, in my opinion, the opening/closing latch on the Optima V2 is a way more better than the latch on the Wolf.
