First, if I load 7 rounds in the magazine, when I release the slide ...1. clean very well before ever shooting. 2. shoot with the slide wet. 3. use 124 grain FMJ. 4. firm grip. 5. tap the magazine to properly seat the rounds. 6. firmly seat the magazine in the pistol. 7. takes 400+ rounds for breakin period. 8.Place the magazine in the magazine well in the frame, with rounds facing forward and push up until magazine is fully seated. A click should be heard as the magazine catch engages when this is done properly. 4. To chamber a round, hold the firearm in the shooting hand without touching the trigger.
