Scar has lighter weight and recoil, similar accuracy, and rock solid monolithic upper receiver. Conclusion The MCX spear in 308 (without a suppressor) is not worth it at the moment. Looks good, works ok, good cool factor, but way too expensive and doesn't live up to its competitors. Hopefully sig will address the loose handguard issue.

You have to change the bolt release out on the left side of the lower, just did the same with an adm4 and the bolt release won't work without a milspec on that fits inside the cutout on the upper.
