My son is a sophomore, and USC from day 1 of sophomore season, as they call it, offers so many workshops, resume reviews, mock interviews, career fairs, etc. to help every student be prepared and get employed. The name USC opens the door for interviews, and the Marshall and USC career services help them get offers.
Ah interesting. We are in LA, so that wouldn't be a big deal (I'd be fine with it) but she really loves the idea of being on campus. I didn't think anything would change her mind about her first choice where she is accepted with $20,000/year scholarship but USC acceptance (albeit spring) seems to have her reconsidering. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. The financial aid office does NOT know if a student is accepted or not. They prepare financial aid offers for every applicant who applies for financial aid so that it is ready IF the student is accepted. But they do not know ahead of time and applicants cannot figure out if they are accepted based on the financial aid office’s letters or requests ...I’m not sure of your source for your citation.
