Oct 25, 2018 · I've done the most recent update and then decided to start setting up Vortex for Fallout 4 for as well. So I add Fallout 4, start adding some mods but decide to take a break and play some Skyrim. I switch Vortex back to Skyrim and all of a sudden all my mods are duplicated, they all have 2 entries showing up, one Disabled and one Never Installed.

Sep 22, 2018 · Everytime I open Vortex it says "Update Available" and when I close Vortex it just installs the "update". I can click "restart and install" but the next time I open Vortex, it'll say "Update Available" again. Also almost all of my mods appeared in Downloads tab after the last update. Last update REALLY broke my Vortex.

The only time I needed visual reordering was because merge plugins needs the plugins to load consecutively. Alright so found a solution to get things playable for myself with all this Bethesda Bs. So Vortex plugins kept getting disabled a setting in SSE Engine Fixes mod. So if your using that mod, go to your Data folder, open EngineFixes.toml with notepad++ and find and set to EnableAchievementsWithMods = false.
