I'm torn between getting the elite precision and having it milled for RMR or getting the OSP and having a top window milled somewhat like the precision model. Let's hear your options. The RMR can handle the cycling of the slide, and even if you mount it on the slide, it takes some practice to find the dot. It appears to 5.25 is essentially the SA version of a Glock 34. I know the Glock 34 frame is exactly the same as Glock 17, therefore slides and frames are swappable. The 4.5 XDm slide/frame will also swap in these calibers. Not sure about 4.5 to 3.8 (some one else has to check that). All the XD frames in these calibers are identical. The XDm frames in 4.5 are identical in 9mm and 40SW. XD and XDm are not interchangeable. XD45 compact and XD45 full grip frames are interchangeable to either a 4 or 5" slide.
